Description
What is combined skin?
If you have a mixture of two or more skin types on your face, you belong to the group of people with combined skin tones. The most common symptom is that the T-lines (chin, nose, forehead) are oily, while the cheeks are dry and may even be peeling. We even talk about combined skin when you have a combination of skin problems on your face, such as wrinkles, acne, or peeling dry patches and rosacea.
The key to well-being in combined skin care is to choose products that don’t aggravate any area.
Young skin is smooth and soft on the surface, but over time the structure of the skin layers undergoes structural changes. The amount of collagen in the skin gradually decreases, causing the skin to become thinner. In addition to the reduction in quantity, the quality of collagen also changes: the collagen fibres become shorter and their structure becomes more irregular. This is the process that leads to a loss of skin elasticity and the appearance of wrinkles.
The sight of a healthy, fresh and luscious face not only makes us feel happy, but also gives us a sense of beauty. But to do this, we need to follow a golden rule: age-appropriate skincare.
The sooner we take proper care of our skin, the longer we can enjoy its youthfulness and firmness.
The visible signs of skin aging, soft skin wrinkles and lines, start to show on our faces around the age of 30. This is because after the age of 30, the amount of collagen in our skin decreases by about 1 to 2 percent per year. At this age, the skin is still firm and supple, but it is still worth looking after your face.
The right facial care, if started early enough, can slow the visible signs of aging and improve the condition of your skin.
Recommended use: gently massage into cleansed skin every morning and evening.
